Sending Money

  1. Where do I send the money from? - Visit the nearest Post office.
  2. When will the money be available to the receiver? - Immediately after the transaction is complete.
  3. Does the receiver have to pay fees? - No, all the fees are paid by the sender.
  4. Do I need to add a test question? - Yes, for designated countries, and our counter officers will always advise where necessary.
  5. What do I need to communicate to the receiver?
    • Senders name
    • Sending country / City of origin
    • Amount sent in local currency
    • the transaction or reference number.

Receiving Money

  1. Where can i receive money from? - Visit the nearest Post office.
  2. Do I need to provide the transaction or reference number? - Yes, this is mandatory for searching the transfer
  3. Do I need to have a bank account to collect my money? - No, this is not required
  4. Do I need to pay a fee when I collect my money? - No, all the fees are paid for by the sender
  5. What do I need to collect my money?
    • Name of the Sender
    • Country / City of transfer’s origin
    • Expected amount to be received
    • Valid ID (NRC,Valid Zambian Driver’s License or Passport)
    • Test question and answer if included by the sender
