This serves to inform the public on the extension of Western Union transactions with Zampost.

Send or Receive up to K20, 000!!

To send or receive up to K10,000 per day, simply present any of the following valid IDs:

  • Zambian National Registration Card.
  • Zambian Passport
  • Zambian Driver's License
  • International Passport (foreigners only)

To send or receive amounts above K10,000 up to K20,000 per day, present your ID as per above, plus one of the following:

  • Proof of residence and a referrence from an employer or recognised professional.
  • Written confirmation from a reputable person such as a Civic leader, Headmaster or Traditional ruler.

    • Senders name
    • Sending country / City of origin
    • Amount sent in local currency

  3. Do I need to have a bank account to collect my money? - No, this is not required
  4. Do I need to pay a fee when I collect my money? - No, all the fees are paid for by the sender
  5. What do I need to collect my money?
    • Name of the Sender
    • Country / City of transfer’s origin
    • Expected amount to be received
    • Valid ID (NRC,Valid Zambian Driver’s License or Passport)
    • Test question and answer if included by the sender
